I found this quote in “Finding Your Inner Fish” by Neil Shubin (excellent!). Neil said, “this captures field paleontology in a nutshell.” I felt this also captures a major WeiQi insight.Paradoxes like these are often used in Zen to point the mind away from fixing words as if they represent real objects and instead toward truth.
